Does boilermaker hire come with any consumables or equipment?
Yes, all of our boilermakers come equiped with a diesel welder, welding cable, a wire feeder, grinders (5”, 7” & 9”), oxy sets, 240v extension leads and general marking out tools. Consumables included with hire include non-exotic Welding Wires (e.g. T8, T11 Self Shielded & Metalcore), electrodes, oxygen/acetylene/other gas mixes, fuel, cutting & grinding discs, tip’s & liners and maintenance on all equipment.
Do your boilermakers hold current General Construction Induction Cards (Blue or white)?
Yes, all of our employees including our boilermakers have a current General Construction Induction Card (blue or white). Part of our induction procedure is to conduct a thorough Verification of Competency – which includes sighting and taking a copy of employees blue or white cards.
What types of welders do Starlight Engineering boilermakers use?
Starlight Engineering’s fleet of welders includes Lincoln Vantage 400’s, Lincoln Vantage 575’s, Miller Bobcat 250’s, and a huge range of electric welders.
