Starlight Engineering is a Queensland based company that has specialised in certified metal fabrication, project support services and welding since 1994.
We have successfully participated in a diverse range of construction projects throughout Australia including wharves, bridges, ship loaders and general workshop fabrication.
Our work is undertaken in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, Industry Practices and Client Specifications.
Our integrted management system for Risk, Quality, Environment & Safety covers all aspects of our business and operations, including manufacturing processes, product quality, waste management and corporate relationships, is independently certified and complies with Australian Standards.
Some of our services include workshop facilities for general fabrication & welding, on-site facilities for project support, skilled labour & equipment hire, international welding specialist – IWS (Internal), welding quality documents (PQR, WPS, etc.), independent weld inspections & testing and destructive & non-destructive testing (X-Ray, UT, MPT).

Brisbane Boilermaker Hire
Starlight Engineering offers qualified and experienced boilermakers for hire in Brisbane that are more than capable of servicing your needs. Our boilermakers come equipped with all of the tools, equipment and consumables required for the job, and they are always on time and efficient.
Metal Fabrication & Welding
Our workshop is located at 29 Enterprise St, Richlands QLD 4077. We offer general fabrication and welding (SAW, FCAW, MIG, TIG, Plasma). We also have a range of equipment to service your needs, including a 4m x 12mm guillotine, 4m x 16mm roller, 100T punch and shear, overhead cranes, forklifts and more.
Marine Services
Starlight Engineering has a range of equipment to service the marine industry, including custom fabricated workboats, portable diesel welders and experienced boilermakers.
Plate Rolling Services
Starlight Engineering offers plate rolling services with the following parameters:
- Diameters range: 500+mm
- Steel grades (Yield): 250 – 1150 Grade
- Steel thickness range: 6 – 32mm
- Plate roller width: 4100mm
Guillotining Services
